Sheffield Pieminister Closes After Seven Years
A popular Sheffield restaurant, Pieminister, has closed its doors after seven years in the city. The venue, which opened in 2018, held a four-star rating on Tripadvisor and attracted a loyal customer base.
The restaurant became well known for its creative menu additions, including its viral ‘gravy fondue’. The dish featured a hot pot of thick gravy served with a selection of dippers such as pigs in blankets, parsnip and kale fritters, and onion rings.
No detailed public statement has been issued about the reasons for the closure, leaving many regular visitors disappointed to see the restaurant shut after nearly a decade.
