Rotherham Santa Sleigh Runs Return on 14 December After 30+ Years
Rotherham Round Table, Rotherham Sitwell Rotary and Rotherham 41 Club will begin their much-loved annual Christmas sleigh runs across the borough on 14 December.
The festive tradition, now more than 30 years old, spreads Christmas cheer to thousands of families while raising vital funds for good causes across Rotherham.
This year’s routes include stops in Canklow, Whiston, Stag, Waverley, Wickersley, Brinsworth and the Grange Estate. Volunteers will be out throughout the evening, bringing Santa’s sleigh to communities across the borough.
Organisers say the events have raised tens of thousands of pounds over the decades thanks to the generosity and support of local residents.
