Sheffield & South Yorkshire Essentials News: Flooding Forces Closure at Grange Park, Kimberworth
The course at Grange Park in Kimberworth, Rotherham, has been left flooded with thousands of gallons of water following a fault with an overflow pipe.
The issue was first reported to Yorkshire Water last Sunday, but despite repeated contact, it still hasn’t been resolved.
Club officials say they are deeply unhappy with the delay, which they believe is linked to the water reserve at Keppel’s Column with the flooding beginning at the same time the reserve started draining.
The standing water has forced parts of the grounds to close, causing mounting frustration for staff and members who are calling for urgent action from Yorkshire Water.
