Sheffield Forgemasters, a South Yorkshire engineering firm, has appointed Swiss specialist Presstrade Technologies GmbH to install the UK’s largest open-die forging press at its site. A woman has been hit by a van on a busy street in Sheffield, causing a significant disruption to traffic. The incident occurred at around 10.02am on Wednesday, and has led to a road closure near Norfolk Row. The woman was taken to hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries. Police are still investigating the incident.
