Armed police deployed to Page Hall after weapons reports
A major police operation took place in Page Hall, Sheffield after reports of a group of people carrying weapons in the street.
South Yorkshire Police deployed armed officers, dog handlers and multiple patrol units to the area at around 4.30pm on Monday, February 2, following concerns for public safety.
Images and video shared online appeared to show a large group walking along the road, while emergency services attended the scene. Police confirmed that several people were injured and that multiple individuals were taken into custody.
Police have not yet released further details about the nature of the incident, and enquiries are ongoing.
